- Crypto-asset markets: Agreement reached on the European Crypto-Assets regulation (MiCA)
Digital Asset Service Providers (DASPs) who were engaged in the provision of crypto-asset services before the date of entry into force of the European MiCA Regulation have until 1 July 2026 to obtain an authorisation as PSCA under MiCA.
- Markets in crypto-assets: publication of the MiCA regulation
From 1 July 2026, they will have to obtain MiCA authorisation in order to continue offering their services, including to investors in France.
- Crypto-assets: the AMF clarifies its policy on DASPs authorised under the PACTE Law to take account of the transitional period and facilitate the transition to MiCA
In France, market participants who can demonstrate that they provided crypto-asset services in accordance with national law prior to this date may continue to do so for a maximum period of 18 months, i.e. until 1 July 2026.

With effect from that date, only Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) authorised in accordance with MiCA can provide crypto-asset services in France.
